Hello everyone, I am Jal Mehta - Born and brought up in good ol Bombay (not Mumbai). Moved to Auckland, NZ in Feb 1999 with my wife and 2 yr old son. Served on the ZANZ (Zarathustrian Assoc. of New Zealand) committee as a helper and committee member for 6+years. Got a lot of joy in hosting and organising community events such as Plays, Sports days, Ghambars, dances and other functions. I came over to Melbourne by virtue of a professional move in early 2019 and my family joined me over the next eventful year or so. Yes, we miss our friends in beautiful New Zealand but we love it here too and we are enjoying every bit of what makes Melbourne the lovely city that it is. Thanks also to the Zoro families who made us feel welcome. Professionally I hold a Post Grad in Marketing Mngmt, Post Grad in Sales Mngmt and am a member of FINSIA (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) with a professional qualification in Banking. My philosophy in life is simple; Live and Let Live, Don't take yourself too seriously; (as life is too short for it) and give back to the community that gave us so much and literally made us who we are.
